At last light the Sandhill Cranes fly in to the ponds to roost for the night.

We were treated to a classic New Mexico sunrise this AM.

Followed by  classic Bosque morning blast off.  Everyone is having the time of their life!

The day began with a classic Bosque sunrise followed by a morning spent phtographing blast off after blast off in the farm fields.  The afternoon was spent working the Northern Harrier hunting for his dinner.  What an excellent start to what promises to be a stellar week.  I can’t wait to see what tomorrow will bring.

You just never know what you will come across drivng the loop road at Bosque.  This little guy was having a tough time keeping his balance in the strong wind.
