What a difference a day makes. Yesterday was nice, softbox light with high thin clouds, moderate temps (around 20 degrees) and lot’s of wildlife activity. This morning we woke to a winter storm with blowing snow and limited visibility. That didn’t stop us from venturing out to see what photographic opportunities we could find. Our first subject was a snow covered bison. After photographing him we moved on to find ghostlike trees in the blowing snow. On days like this, I automatically kick into B&W mode. The weather is clearing and the temps dropping…I can’t wait to see what lies in store for us next.
