In the Columbia Gorge just out of Portland, OR that is.  With the perfect waterfall lighting today, I had to head out to the Gorge to photograph for a few hours.  I made my favorite image of Latourel Falls.

The soft glow in the forest captured my imagination.

I’m back!  After spending the month of June in SLC helping my strong and courageous mother go through two total knee replacements (she’s doning great!) and getting caught up on lot’s of office work, learning some new software, working on new programs and some exciting new safaris (stay tuned), I am finally able to get out and do some shooting.  And, what better way to celebrate than to head out and  enjoy a little blues (Portland Blues Festival), some good food and photograph the fireworks.  We had front row seats for the show!
