We has a slight overcast for our morning shoot which was perfect for our subject…Fishtown. With the subject in mind, I used my infrared camera part of the time.

I love the quality of skin with the infrared camera so I took the opportunity to photograph a couple of our special guests…Terry White of Adobe & Wes Maggio from Wacom…

Of course, cute Stephie was hamming it up for the camera.

To capture the rich colors and quality of the wooden buildings I pulled out the D3X and combined a little B&W infrared with the color…

And, then Joe worked his magic and sweet talked Jeremy, one of the guys working in the fish smoke house to come out and pose. Once again, I used a mix of B&W and color to get the look I was after.

Images captured with Nikon D200 converted to infrared with AF-S 18-200mm, Nikon D3X with AF-S 24-70mm & 70-300mm VR on Lexar Digital Media.
