It’s great to be back in SFO! The DLWS staff arrived early to do some scouting and find the best locations to take our group. Even though we have been here several times before, it’s always good to find new photo locations as well as visit our favorites…one of which is Fort Point for both it’s great view of the Golden Gate Bridge as well as the historic fort with it’s wonderful textures and graphic patterns…

Sometimes best laid plans can be thwarted…we arrived for our evening shoot tonight to find the fort closed. While a bit disappointed, we did what any good photographers would do in a situation like this…we turned our attention to other subjects…

Stephie is always a very willing model…

And as the evening wore on, the lights on the Golden Gate Bridge came on and we photographed the grand old dame of San Francisco in all her glory!

With a great start to our first DLWS of 2010, I am ready to turn in and dream of the photo opportunities that await us tomorrow.
Images captured with Nikon D3X, AF-S 14-24mm (1st photo), AF-S 24-70mm (2nd and 4th photos), AF-S 70-200mm VR II (3rd photo) on Lexar Digital MEdia
