I love seeing the falls in winter with the ice cone building at the base. Once again, the soft, overcast light made for great shooting. Overcast light can be a good friend. I love photographing mammals, water, flowers…many subjects in the overcast light using the sky as a giant softbox to diffuse the light. The key is to avoid getting the sky in the frame.
